Sculpture outside the National Theatre on London’s South Bank.

Pages in progress, pocket sketchbook.

South Bank Sketchbook Safari

Friday 27th February, 11.30am-1.30pm, £22.

I will soon be running my first Sketchbook Safari on London’s South Bank. We start at the Royal Festival Hall, where you will paint and fold watercolour paper into your very own pocket-sized sketchbook. The painted background will help you ease that fear of the blank page and as I provide prompts along the way to encourage you to fill your little sketchbook with visual notes. We will move to different locations along a small stretch of the South Bank and I have identified both indoor and outdoor locations so we can adapt our stopping off points according to the weather.

There are no expectations of perfectionism here - in fact, the whole workshop is about expressing and experimenting on a small and portable scale. Come, create and connect with me and a small, friendly group.
The cost of the workshop is just £22. You can bring or buy your own refreshments, but all materials for the workshop will be supplied. If you have preferred art materials of your own, you can of course bring and use these.

This first Sketchbook Safari will be a small group to allow for one-to-one support. Contact me to book your place.
